This song was written on the first day of rehearsals with the new band in September 2008 and became the title track of the new album. It's about standing up for what you believe in and not doing things just to fit in. Sometimes people are pressurised into doing things they don't really want to do because they feel that they won't be accepted unless they conform. Knowing that God has created each one of us a unique individual and has a special plan and purpose for us can help. He can also give us the strength to resist when we feel under pressure and reply to those who try to persuade us to do the wrong thing, 'I don't care what you say, it's never gonna happen.'

This song celebrates the fact that there is more to life than what we see around us everyday. There is more to live for than just the material, physical world in which we live. Beyond this life there is a hope and a future in heaven where suffering, injustice and fear do not exist because it is God's perfect home. Amazingly enough it's actually possible to be there with Him one day becasue of what Jesus did on the cross. In the meantime we can a experience a little taste of this when we enter into a friendship with Him and start to enjoy life His way.

This song is the title track of our last album. It tells the story of someone who wasn't getting the best out of life not only because of her circumstances but also because of her bad attitude to everyone around her. It can be difficult to change your own situation and you can feel powerless and hopeless at times. However, this girl found hope and meaning when she decided to let God change her from the inside, not always an easy choice but the only real way out. We often judge people by their attitude and actions but only God sees the potential in a persons heart.

It's easy for us to act in a way that makes us feel accepted by them but it's actually not who we really are and we end up losing our own identity so that we can fit in. God has created us all with a unique identity which means that we are all different, fascinating, incredible individuals and He loves us!!

Another classic old Taste song which has had a few different arrangements over the years! The latest version can be found on the forthcoming Taste album as an acoustic track.The song is about putting the past behind and starting over again. It's not always easy to do that especially when we are made vulnerable by life's difficulties. Whether it's things that we need to forgive others for or the fact that we need to be forgiven, God is willing to give us the new start we need. His forgiveness means that when we turn to him he will wipe the slate clean and allow us to start again.

Possibly the oldest and best loved Taste song, Sitting On The Fence acknowledges that many of the people we meet as we travel around are undecided when it comes to believing in God, perhaps questioning what He is like or even if He exists. We want to encourage people that life doesn't have to seem like a game of chance and some of those ultimate answers can be found for the seeker who is finally willing to take that leap of faith.

This is the first brand new song from the new Taste line-up. The theme of this song sums up the kind of thing that the band does as they travel around. Hopefully, through meeting the members of the band and listening to their songs, people will get a real taste of what it means to be a Christian and want to check out the claims of Jesus for themselves.

This is a song which compares life to Free Running. Even though we can sometimes feel trapped by our circumstances and unable to overcome difficult situations, we have the opportunity to let God help us through and lift us over the obstacles we face.
